Are you an experienced administrator looking for a brand-new challenge?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive professional to join the dynamic and friendly MPS administrative team.

We are seeking a helpful, energetic, and well-organised individual who will work closely with colleagues to deliver a high standard of support while having the freedom to create new systems.

You will have responsibility for providing administrative support for the School’s research activities; the Research and Enterprise Coordinator, the Postgraduate Coordinator and the Professoriate within the School as required.

The role involves a variety of tasks which include: supporting the School’s research students and staff, supporting research events within the school both in person and online, booking travel and accommodation; processing claims and expenses forms; web site updating and maintaining data and records.

The successful candidate will be versatile and outgoing, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident with IT. They will have experience in customer service, data entry and information systems. Experience with budgets, event organising, and some web background would also be welcomed. The post holder will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of international academics and other colleagues and partners to support a high-profile research portfolio. You will enjoy a wide variety of tasks that will vary throughout the year, keeping the job fresh and interesting.

The School Office is vital to the smooth-running of the School and you will contribute to the high standards of service delivery within the research support team.
