The School of Life Sciences is at the forefront of research in the biological sciences in the UK, coming in the top 10 in the REF 2014.
We wish to recruit a highly-motivated research fellow in neuroscience, to join the successful and productive laboratory of Prof. Sarah Guthrie. The project investigates the mechanisms of axon guidance that underlie the normal and abnormal development of the ocular motor system.
In particular, the fellow will use in vitro and in vivo approaches to address the role of the signalling protein alpha2-chimaerin in the causation of an eye movement disorder.
