Hours: Part time hours considered up to a maximum of 7.3 hours per week. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).
Contract: Fixed term until January 2022 (9 months)
Salary: Starting at £30,046 to £33,797 per annum, pro rata if part time.

The Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) within the University of Sussex Business School is seeking to appoint a part time Research Assistant to work with Dr Bipashyee Ghosh and Dr Imogen Wade (SPRU) on a number of tasks in the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC) project, regarding producing learning materials for TIPC. The materials will be part of the TIPC resource pack.
The successful candidate for the Research Assistant position will have a good understanding of sustainability transitions literature and familiarity with science, technology and innovation policy studies. She/he will be keen to learn about the practical implementation of academic concepts for a non-academic audience. The main task will be to systematise transdisciplinary research conducted by the TIP Consortium and support in the translation of these insights into relevant learning materials, that is based on co-created knowledge. The role also includes coordination within and across teams to organize meetings and workshops if required and reporting on these events.
