Job description

STEP-UP is an exciting, new project run in conjunction with the University of Brighton. STEP-UP (SME’s Transformation Engagement Programme Universities Partnership) is funded through the European Social Fund and will bridge the gap between the supply of graduates with high-level skills, and the demand for work-force ready employees required by small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Project Officer will have specific responsibility for managing project-related administration and finance, overseeing day-to-day administrative and financial processes and procedures. As the main point of contact for all stakeholders regarding the project, the Project Officer will also play a significant role in managing stakeholder relationships within and between the universities, project partners, funders and SMEs, on an operational level.

With additional responsibility for SME engagement, the Project Officer will implement and monitor communication plans, introducing corrective actions where necessary.
