Job description

The University of Sussex Business School’s Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) is seeking to appoint an outstanding Professor of Sustainability and Innovation Studies.

The Professor will be expected to take a leadership role in the School’s online teaching portfolio and enhance its global reputation as a leading centre for innovation studies, and strengthen SPRU’s research leadership in sustainable development. 

The candidate will have significant experience of high-quality teaching, curriculum development and PhD supervision;

An extensive publication and citation record in leading innovation management and policy journals;

A proven track record of securing grants from external funding agencies and research leadership in managing large projects.
