The Department of Accounting and Finance is looking to recruit up to 4 full-time faculty members at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader level in the area of Accounting and/or Finance.
We are looking for individuals with an exciting research agenda that either complements or adds to the interests of our current faculty. The Finance Group has two existing research groups, Business Finance (BF) and Quantitative Finance (QF), which focus on topics such as company finance in both public and private companies, venture capital, derivatives, risk management and FinTech. The Accounting Group has existing expertise in the area of accountability, performance management and governance in public sector and non-profit organisations and accounting in emerging economies.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their research has publication potential in top level journals. The Department values ‘quality over quantity’.
The successful candidates will be engaged academics who enjoy working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and show enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues within the department and across disciplines.
They should have experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as a preparedness to teach specialist and core subjects.
