The Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), within the University of Sussex Business School, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to contribute to the development and delivery of research-led teaching in the areas of innovation and project management, including modules on strategic management, management of risk and managing intellectual property. The Lecturer will also contribute to growing research in the areas of innovation and project management, and will be expected to seek research funding and publish papers in high quality journals.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PhD in a related field (e.g. Innovation Management, Project Management, Strategy, Organization Studies).
- Experience of successful curriculum design or re-design and adoption/development of innovative teaching methods.
- Excellent knowledge of contemporary issues and debates within the area of innovation, strategy, project management and organization theory.
- Ability to communicate to academics and students with a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds.
- An emerging publication record in innovation management/project management/strategy journals.
