Job description

The School of Life Sciences at the University of Sussex is looking to recruit a new Lecturer in any area of Synthetic Chemistry, preferably in the area of Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

The Chemistry subject area within Life Sciences is engaged in research and teaching across all branches of Chemistry, and our Chemistry undergraduate programmes are ranked 4th in the UK in the Guardian University Guide for 2018.

The successful applicant will have a strong research background in Synthetic Chemistry, preferably with evidence of independent funding and high level publications. He/she will also have a willingness to engage in all aspects of undergraduate teaching in Chemistry.
