Salary: starting at £30,046 and rising to £33,797 per annum, pro rata if part time

The University of Sussex is seeking to appoint a skilled, creative and self-motivated Learning Technologist to help us maximise the effective use of digital technologies to transform the learning experience at Sussex. The role involves working in partnership with academic staff and students to support the application of learning technologies in the design, development and delivery of courses and to act as a change agent in this important area.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in multimedia production and/or web design, demonstrate an awareness of the importance of accessibility and assistive technologies and be abreast of developments in emerging fields such as virtual and augmented reality.
Joining us at an exciting time for the University as we take forward the ambitious aims of the Learn to Transform strategy, the successful candidate will support academic schools to enrich their practice using digital technologies and embed the use of our online study platform Canvas. They will collaborate with fellow Learning Technologists and with Academic Developers to develop resources and training opportunities to drive forward the effective use of digital technologies to enrich the educational experience of our students.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate a record of ongoing professional development as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop strong relationships across the University.
