Job description

We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Co-ordinator to join the Service Centre Team in IT Services. This is a full time post and a unique opportunity for the successful applicant to combine their technical knowledge with exceptional customer service skills in a client facing role.

You will be working on a busy Service Desk dealing with a variety of enquiries from staff, students dealing with customers via our front desk or on the phone . You must have strong written and verbal communication skills and a dedicated approach to providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and finding solutions to technical issues. In particular you should have experience of resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues on a wide range of devices.

You will be well organised, self-motivated, with the ability to communicate technical information to staff and students who have varying levels of IT awareness, and should enjoy being part of a dynamic client facing technical support team.
