Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the Service Desk Team in IT Services. This is a full time post and a unique opportunity for the successful applicant to combine building technical knowledge with developing exceptional customer service skills.

You will be working on a busy Service Desk dealing with a variety of enquiries from staff and  students, dealing with customers via our front desk, email ticketing system, or on the phone . You must have good general communication skills and a natural desire to want to help.

Through training and mentoring the successful candidate will develop skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and finding solutions to technical issues. You will gain exposure to a wide range of different technologies and devices, as well as working with ITIL processes and other industry standard working practices.

You will be well organised, extremely self-motivated, and have a passion and natural curiosity for technology and learning and skills.
