An fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the University of Sussex’s IT Applications Integration team. This is an exciting time for the University as it embarks on an ambitious digital transformation journey that puts the needs of its students, staff and research at its forefront. IT Applications Integrations is key in supporting that journey and the right candidate will be immersed in an array of innovate and exciting integration projects delivered in a fast paced Agile environment.
We are seeking a creative integration developer, ideally coming from a software development background, with extensive experience of integrating a diverse range of application services, both on premise and in the cloud, in-house developed and the latest commercial services. The ideal candidate will have worked in an enterprise environment developing, testing, delivering and supporting integrations through the software development lifecycle.
We are looking for someone who has a thirst for technology and innovation, someone who is keen to implement exciting and new techniques using emerging technology. You must have experience of the Dell Boomi integration platform, or a similar enterprise integration platform.
Your knowledge and skillset should include:
- In depth knowledge of Oracle and SQL
- Knowledge of SOAP and RESTful technologies
- Diverse knowledge of system integration methods
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Software development knowledge and best practice
