Job description 

  • This is a replacement post upon the retirement of the previous post-holder. It will be for 3 years fixed term in the first instance, but our expectation is that the contract will be renewed.
  • The post-holder will build upon the very strong reputation of the MSc in Psychiatry that has run through the medical school for more than a decade, and was revalidated in 2018, taking into account any changes in the RCPsych curriculum.
  • The numbers of students on the programme is buoyant, having increased substantially over the years, and they are now derived from across the Kent, Surrey & Sussex region.
  • The course is well supported by bursaries from HEEKSS, and the postholder will be expected to work closely with the Head of School of Psychiatry.
