In recent years, the International Office has been shortlisted for a range of international awards including HEIST and THE awards.  The International Recruitment team is working within the University’s strategic framework through to 2025, with offices in three locations in Asia and a team of 15 based at the University of Sussex campus in Falmer.

As a member of the international administration team you will provide professional administrative support for all areas of team activity relating to international student recruitment.  The role encompasses logistical support for outbound staff visits and incoming student or stakeholder visits as well as coordinating Student Ambassador work. It also includes financial administration, customer service, event organisation support and a range of other responsibilities. Please refer to the job description for further details.

The post holder will require excellent communication skills suitable for a variety of audiences. Skills in IT, time management and numeracy are essential.  The successful candidate will also have good cross cultural awareness and be a good team worker.  An understanding of the needs of international applicants and students would be an asset though not essential prerequisite.
