Hours: Full time or part time considered up to a maximum of 36.5 hours. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).
Salary: starting at £25,941 to £30,046 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly organised individual to provide comprehensive executive administration and secretarial support to the Dean in the School of Media, Arts and Humanities.
The Executive Administrator (EA) will provide a professional interface between the Dean and her internal and external contacts. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills and be highly organised. The EA will be responsible for managing a busy diary and arranging travel. In addition to organising and supporting meetings, the EA will conduct research when required to ensure the Dean is well-prepared for their commitments.
The EA will be required to maintain office systems and carry out a wide range of other tasks.
The EA will supervise and manage a team of staff supporting the School Management Team.
The EA will be approachable and confident, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and will be expected to work well using their own initiative with a varied workload in a busy environment.
Job purpose and overview:
- To oversee and provide a professional interface between the Dean of the School of Media, Arts and Humanities and all internal and external stakeholders of the school
- To provide executive administrative support
- To supervise the executive administration team
