Job description

This vacancy is only open to those currently employed by the University.  

The Events Officer will be a key member of the Careers and Employability Centre (CEC) Employer Engagement Team, coordinating and developing a varied and informative employability events programme that includes our flagship Careers Fair. 

The role holder will engage with employers, staff and students to deliver on the University’s world readiness and employability strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the events team with the aim of delivering high quality employability activities as part of a central and academic schools programme
  • Work closely with CEC colleagues to achieve the University’s world readiness and employability strategic objectives
  • Oversee and deliver all administration, systems management and reporting of the CEC events programme
  • Develop and maintain networks with key stakeholders
