An amazing opportunity has arisen or a talented individual to join the university of Sussex's Estates Projects team supporting the Estates Leadership in Governance and Submission of papers. This a challenging opportunity for the University as it embarks on an Estates transformation journey that puts the needs of its students, staff and research at its forefront. Estates Project Portfolio, is key in supporting that journey. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of the Estate strategy and roadmap.
Collaborating across various University Directorates, the successful candidate will assist the Deputy Director of Estates with the initiation and maintenance of complex programs of work, including governance and identifying/gaining funding to support the overall strategies.
The individual will require exceptional organization and business delivery skills, as well as the personal resilience to manage a demanding and fast paced role. S/he will be expected to support the Director of Estates in their role to co-ordinate and manage the flow of Business Case Information from across the organization, and then ensure decisions and actions taken are cascaded and taken forward by the appropriate leaders.
The individual will work closely with the Director of Estates, Deputy Director of Estates and Project Managers, responsible for the provision of high quality secretariat services to Committees and Sub-committees. Together you will ensure coordination and a seamless exchange of information across the Governance structure of the University, as well as ensuring that required actions are appropriately allocated and executed on time.
