Job description

There has never been a better time to join the University of Sussex’s high-performing Development and Alumni Relations Office. The University is ranked among the top 25 in the country and we are raising funds for transformational projects that will make the future better for everyone.

Through its world-class research the University is tackling societal challenges ranging from pushing health frontiers in neuroscience and oncology to addressing fundamental public policy issues both on the UK and global scale.

As Development Manager, you will play a key role in helping deliver the University of Sussex’s strategic vision and plan, by securing leadership gifts through personal solicitation for key institutional priorities.

You will cultivate and solicit gifts primarily from individuals, the majority of whom are Sussex alumni, and assist in expanding the University’s networks by reaching out to external contacts and corporations who may be interested in the University’s work.

If you have a passion for education and are an experienced, tenacious and self-driven fundraiser, we would be very keen to hear from you.
