Job description

The School of Engineering and Informatics is seeking to recruit a Course Coordinator to support the work of the Teaching and Assessment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic team of Professional Services staff. A qualification in Engineering or Computer Science is not a requirement for this post; we are a team with varied backgrounds, interests, education, and experiences and we are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active individual, who exhibits initiative and a can-do attitude.

In particular, we are looking for someone who is well organised with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, academics, and professional services colleagues, both orally and in writing.

Other important qualities are: someone who is a good team member, excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently and to contribute positively to improvement projects and change, and being able to work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will display initiative and flexibility. Good technological skills plus the ability to adopt and adapt to new technologies are important.

Please contact Luke Scott, for informal enquiries.
