Hours: Full time. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).
Contract: fixed term until 1January 2022
Salary: starting at £21,814 to £25,217 per annum, pro rata if part time

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Course Coordinator for the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, to coordinate teaching and assessment for undergraduate students. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, friendly and vibrant unit that aims to provide a top-quality student experience. The successful candidate will require excellent organisational, customer service and IT skills, and must demonstrate that they can work well as part of a team.
Duties will include:
- supporting lecturers in the delivery of their courses;
- co-ordinating the teaching and assessment of students;
- assisting students with induction and option choices;
- acting as Secretary to the Board of Study and assisting in the School examination processes;
- supporting the Head of the Department of Mathematics;
- maintaining course materials and websites to a high standard.
