Job description

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Course Co-ordinator for the School of English. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and vibrant unit. The successful candidate will require excellent organisational and IT skills, and will be able to demonstrate that they can work well as part of a team. Areas of responsibility will include:

• supporting the drama faculty and students;

• providing administrative support for the V & E (visiting and exchange) students;

• assisting the Admissions Tutor with arrangements for admissions days;

• administrative support for School committees;

• editorial work on the School newsletter; and

• assisting with the examination processes.

This is a varied role and will offer the individual the opportunity to develop in a number of different areas. Candidates called for interview will be asked to bring along samples of publications they have worked on to demonstrate their experience in this area.
