Applications are invited from doctors in training at the level of specialist trainee to work as a Research Fellow in Medical Education.
This is a 2-year post in which the post holder will work with the undergraduate academic team from Brighton and Sussex Medical School. The project focuses on the innovation and development of a core module in the new project 200 curriculum. This is a module in the fifth year which prepares students for practice as foundation doctors (called “F0”). A core component of the post will be the opportunity to register and study for a higher degree (MD) through Brighton & Sussex Medical School, subject to the submission of an approved proposal to the School. The Research Fellow will primarily work with their academic mentor and will work across sites at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals Trust and Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
The successful candidate will be medically qualified and at specialist trainee level with experience of undergraduate teaching and assessment.
