Job description

The School of Psychology is seeking to appoint a well organised clerical assistant.  The successful candidate will work as part of a small team dealing with the student experience for undergraduate & postgraduate taught and research students. The key responsibilities of the post will be:

  • Supporting attendance and engagement processes
  • Assisting with the planning and organisation of the annual cycle of student events
  • Supporting the development of student wellbeing activities
  • Providing administrative support for Student Experience Group
  • Acting as a key contact for Student Representatives and Mentors.

The successful candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic and well-organised administrator, ideally with experience in a student or customer facing role. Excellent communication skills, and understanding and patient manner are key, as is a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues across the University.
