Hours: Full time or part time hours considered up to a maximum of 36.5 hours per week Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).
Contract: fixed term until 30 June 2020
Salary: starting at £18,688 and rising to £20,836 per annum

The School of Psychology is seeking to appoint a well organised clerical assistant. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team dealing with the student experience for undergraduate & postgraduate taught and research students. The key responsibilities of the post will be:
- Supporting attendance and engagement processes
- Assisting with the planning and organisation of the annual cycle of student events
- Supporting the development of student wellbeing activities
- Providing administrative support for Student Experience Group
- Acting as a key contact for Student Representatives and Mentors.
The successful candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic and well-organised administrator, ideally with experience in a student or customer facing role. Excellent communication skills, and understanding and patient manner are key, as is a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues across the University.
