Job description 

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated team player to work with the University’s Development and Alumni Relations team, and the University of Sussex Business School, to increase alumni engagement with the University. 

This post requires excellent oral and written communication skills, experience of working with volunteers, using a database and maintaining social media channels. 

The Alumni Relations Coordinator will work with the University’s Alumni Relations Manager, and the External Engagement Manager in the Business School, to implement the alumni engagement programme for the School as part of its broader Engagement Strategy. 

The Alumni Relations Coordinator will foster alumni relationships and create opportunities for life-long engagement through communications, events and volunteering, as part of the University’s Engage For Change strategy. 

The post will play a key role in facilitating fruitful relationships with alumni that enhance student employability, the student experience and the curriculum. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a desire to pursue a career in alumni relations, communications, volunteer management or membership services and events.
