Hours: Full time or part time hours considered up to a maximum of 36.5 hours per week. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).
Salary: Starting at £25,482 and rising to £29,515 per annum, pro rata

The University of Sussex Business School are seeking a highly motivated team player to further develop and deliver our alumni engagement programme.
Reporting to the Alumni Relations Manager, and working closely with colleagues in the Business School and the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO), you will foster alumni relationships and create opportunities for life-long alumni engagement through communications, events and volunteering, as part of the University’s Engage For Change strategy.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we establish the University of Sussex Business school as a global leader in innovation, research and learning. The University has recently launched its Strategic Framework 2025 – A Better University for a Better World, and is undergoing a dynamic organisational and cultural change programme, introducing new business strategies and ways of working.
Your role will provide the main link between the Business School and our alumni with the purpose of facilitating fruitful relationships that enhance student employability, the student experience and the curriculum.
An excellent communicator and networker with a keen eye for detail, you will be personable and self-driven with a can-do attitude, and eager to take on responsibility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a desire to pursue a career in alumni relations, communications, volunteer management or membership services and events.
