Salary: starting at £26,341 to £30,497 per annum, pro rata if part time

The Library is seeking to appoint a part-time Academic Services Supervisor for a fixed term role. The hours of work for the post are 21.9 hours per week, negotiable within core Library hours 8.00am-6.00pm and will include occasional evening and weekend work.
To succeed in this post, you will be highly motivated and able to work well both in a team environment and independently. Initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, are essential. The post-holder will deliver information awareness and skills sessions for researchers, and provide both administrative and training support for Elements, the University’s current research information system.
The role will require an understanding of the current Higher Education research environment, or a commitment to developing this.
The successful applicant will be based in the Academic Services section of the Library, supporting researchers and research administrators.
