Eating out can be a wonderful social experience - sharing food and connecting with friends and family is great for our wellbeing and a healthy part of an active social life.

When you do eat out, though, it's important to be mindful of your food choices, and the same goes with takeaway; the occasional treat can be something to look forward to, but if you regularly eat foods which are high in fat, sugar or salt, they could have a negative effect on your health and wellbeing.
