The University of Sussex welcomed the broadening of post 16 qualifications that Curriculum 2000 brought about and felt that this broadening fitted particularly well with the interdisciplinary structure of many Sussex degree programmes. The university has a long tradition of welcoming applicants with a wide variety of qualifications backgrounds and was pleased by the array of Subjects at A and AS level that Curriculum 2000 enabled students to take.
