Some Schools have Study Direct sites set up by experienced Associate Tutors (usually the AT representatives) to provide subject-specific advice and resources. For example, in Psychology there is the PSYCHAT site which provides resources on starting to teach and improving teaching practice. It also features a ‘swap shop’ for tutors to share teaching materials for all of the courses taught in Psychology. The site includes a forum for tutors to discuss teaching experiences with other tutors and raise issues for Representatives to take forward to meetings. If you are an Associate Tutor in Psychology you can get access to the site by contacting the AT Reps.
