The University is developing its student evaluation mechanisms and routes for analysing and responding to student feedback. The strategy is to weave together a mix of externally and internally-administered strands that fit together to create a coherent, well-articulated student evaluation structure, with both quantitative and qualitative strands, and which informs policy development and prioritisation.
This work is being led by the Student Experience Survey Working Group. This is a small group of academic staff, professional services staff and representatives of the Students' Union.
A selection of documents relating to the work of the group are available (campus accessible only)
Sussex Course Evaluation Questionnaire
The working group was tasked with developing a more standardised University-wide Course Evaluation Questionnaire (i.e. at the level commonly referred to at Sussex as the 'student evaluation questionnaire' or SEQ). The above link will take you to information about the new CEQ.
