Sussex Energy Group recognizes the importance of diverse stakeholders, including policy makers and non-state actors, in determining the future of energy policy. As a result, our research assignments are not carried out in isolation; we engage with stakeholders on multiple levels.
We have chosen to undertake our work in a manner that is both conducive to and welcoming of feedback from the wide range of stakeholders we engage with. SEG researchers make use of many communication channels to connect with stakeholders in order to disseminate research results, make evidence-based recommendations to policy makers, and receive information from non-state actors.
This approach also keeps us in-tune with ongoing developments in sustainable energy systems. It influences our efforts at designing research methodologies, developing theories and models, and presenting research findings are directed at tackling tangible concerns.
