Undergraduate Enrichment Award (2017)
The Undergraduate Enrichment Award is funded by an alumnus of the University. The award is made to a student studying in their first year, who has achieved good A-level results and comes from a low income household.
The award is paid in installments with £1000 being issued in the first year and the remaining funds being distributed equally each year, the amount depending on the duration of the course.

Eligibility
• Be studying an undergraduate course at the University of Sussex
• Have achieved at least 120 UCAS points at A-Level or equivalent qualification (not including
General Studies)
• Have a household income of £25,000 or less
• Be aged between 18 and 24 on the 14th September 2017

Application is by invitation only.
Applications will be ranked and assessed on the following criteria:
- Household income;
- Incoming qualifications;
- Plans for your time at Sussex;
- Aspirations after you finish your course.
To be considered, you will need to provide a personal statement, this should be no longer than 500 words. We have verified your household income and incoming qualifications, so your statement should focus on your plans and aspirations.
