Funding

(2012 entry)

Funding for home/EU students

Sussex has launched an innovative First-Generation Scholars scheme to support students whose parents haven't been to university, as well as those from low-income families. Students receiving UK Government grant support will be entitled to financial support via the scheme, and we have therefore set the eligibility threshold at the highest level possible – ie students whose family income is up to £42,600. For more information, refer to Funding for home/EU students.

Funding for Islands students

Students from the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are subject to different funding arrangements from mainland UK students. For information on support for tuition fees and living expenses, you should contact your island education offices.

Funding for overseas students

The University of Sussex offers a range of support, including our Chancellor's International Scholarships supporting the best in global talent. For more information, refer to Funding for overseas students.

Search funding opportunities

Our funding database allows you to search for funding opportunities to support your studies at Sussex. Look across the range of scholarships, fellowships, bursaries and study awards that are available. Refer to Search funding opportunities.
