We are happy to consider applications for deferred entry and recognise the value that can be gained from taking a gap year. If you wish to defer your entry, you just need to indicate this in the UCAS application or inform Undergraduate Admissions at Sussex (E ug.applicants@sussex.ac.uk) if you have already submitted your application. Admissions staff will consider applications for deferred entry in exactly the same way as those for entry in the coming year. It is not, however, possible to defer your place a second time. We would instead invite you to reapply.
