Our team of Undergraduate Liaison Officers have between them a vast number of years' experience of advising students, parents and teachers about Higher Education. We recognise that whilst some events might require a formal presentation delivered by a senior team member, others (workshops, student life talks etc) are often better delivered by our Graduate Intern, or one of our highly trained Student Ambassadors. If you need to discuss specific speaker requirements for your event, please contact us.
We also work alongside a dedicated Widening Participation team who deliver specific indepth advice and support to students from WP backgrounds. If you think your school or a cohort of students from your school may fall into this category, please contact us to find out what additional activities/initiatives we offer.
Our fieldworkers
Sussex Graduate Intern
Each year we employ a recent Sussex graduate to undertake a one year internship with us. They are expertly placed to provide practical advice to prospective students on topics ranging from student life, budgeting, courses and extracurricular opportunities. They will also usually represent Sussex at nationwide HE fairs.
Sussex Student Ambassadors
Our trained Student Ambassadors are also available to oversee workshop sessions and deliver guided campus tours to inbound visitors. It might be that one of our ambassadors is a former student at your school or college, in which case we'll let you know - in case you'd like a visit from them!
