2011/12 Photo competition
The 2011/12 study abroad photo competition has been launched; students studying abroad in this academic year have been asked to prepare their entries to the competition which will be judged during an exhibition in autumn 2012.
- The entries will be judged according to the following categories:
- Best Voluntary study abroad picture
- Best Mandatory study abroad picture
- Funniest picture
- Best European picture
- Most thought provoking picture

25th Erasmus Anniversary Competition
The European Commission has just launched a "25th Erasmus Anniversary Competition" on Facebook.
The objective is to share personal Erasmus experiences to encourage others to enjoy the benefits of studying in another European country. They are looking for funny, exciting or moving stories (preferably in English), in any format, whether text, photo or video. Anyone who has been abroad on an Erasmus exchange is encouraged to participate.
The Youth on the Move team will shortlist the top 10 entries, then Facebook users will vote to choose the three prize-winners, which will also be published on the Youth on the Move website.
Time frame:
Deadline for posting stories is 30 April 2012 (23:59 PM - Central European Summer Time).
Voting will start on 1 May and end on 8 May (23:59 PM CEST).
Winners will be announced on the event page on 9 May.
Prizes:
1st prize: tablet pc
2nd prize: mp4 player
3rd prize: digital camera
