SYLFF Fellowships *PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR THE HOME/EU AWARD HAS CHANGED TO 15 MAY 2016* (2016)

Two fellowships for Home UK/EU students and one fellowship for an Overseas student are available through a trust funded by the Tokyo Foundation. The fellowships are offered with the objective of educating graduate students who have high potential for future leadership in international affairs.

What you get

Fee waiver of up to £7,500 for Home UK/EU students. Fee waiver of up to £14,800 for Overseas students.

Eligibility

You are eligible to be considered for a SYLFF Fellowship if you are national of and resident in one of the following countries:

  • Albania
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belarus
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina
  • Croatia
  • Georgia
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kosovo
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Macedonia
  • Moldova
  • Montenegro
  • Russia (Russian Federation)

  • Turkmenistan
  • Ukraine
  • United Kingdom
  • Uzbekistan

In addition, you also need to be applying for one of the following masters degree courses:

  • Human Rights
  • International Criminal Law
  • International Economics

There are three fellowships available:

  • Fee waiver of up to £7,500 for the Home UK/EU students
  • Fee waiver of up to £14,800 for the Overseas student
