You learn to critically assess and compare diverse disciplinary perspectives on the relationships between migration and development, for example anthropology, international relations, sociology, gender studies, and human geography.

You develop a systematic understanding of key theoretical and policy debates around the experiences of the migration and global development nexus.

You also learn to critically assess contemporary policy agendas, diplomatic and development interventions over migration and development.
