Module learning outcomes
- The successful student will demonstrate knowledge of certain grammatical principles and understanding of their syntactical application in effective planned and spontaneous communication in the target language within a selected variety of formal/informal contexts.
- S/he will demonstrate reading comprehension skills by the analysis of and response to authentic texts in the TL on social or cultural themes.
- S/he will demonstrate the capacity to write discursively in the TL to appropriate standards of accuracy and sophistication.
- So doing, s/he will demonstrate an ability to grasp certain basic theories and concepts, and to develop lines of argument.
