This module gives you a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial process and the development of new ventures, with equal attention paid to both business and public/non-for-profit sectors. Entrepreneurship is viewed as a process that provides sustainable economic, social and institutional change. Conceptual foundations are matched with practical training, to enable you to formulate and explore entrepreneurial ideas and opportunities.
Module learning outcomes
- Demonstrate a systematic understanding of the knowledge and the techniques related to the process of identifying new entrepreneurial opportunities and developing them into entrepreneurial ventures.
- Critical analysis of various forms of entrepreneurship and evaluation of the issues related to the venturing process.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of how to identify and pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity with a team of peers.
