In most cases, fees are different for European Union (EU) students and non-EU students.

What do the fees include?

The fees listed include registration, tuition and exams

They do not include accommodation costs, extra-curricular language tuition, use of the sports facilities, club and society memberships, photocopying and printing.

Some modules include a compulsory requirement for you to take part in a field trip (e.g. art history). You must pay the whole cost of the field trip if this is the case.

When do I pay the fees as a visiting student?

When you apply, you must provide evidence of your ability to pay the fees and how you will support yourself financially.

You normally pay fees in full when you register. If you are studying at Sussex for the full academic year, you can pay your fees in instalments.

All fees are liable to review and change without notice. Contact our Study Abroad team for more information

Exchange students (including Erasmus + students)

If you are an exchange student, you do not usually pay tuition fees to study term-time modules. However, you are liable to pay for special programmes.
