Assessment deadlines revised following snow disruption

Due to the snow and travel disruption on Monday evening (11 March) and during Tuesday (12 March) - and campus services not being able to operate as normal - the University is revising the assessment deadlines for work due in on Tuesday and Wednesday (13 March).
The deadlines for work due in on these days are being extended by 48 hours (for work due in on Tuesday) and by 24 hours (for work due in on Wednesday) so that all work is now due in on Thursday 14 March. The normal 24-hour penalty for late work then applies.
In relation to work that was due in on Monday, the normal 24-hour penalty deadline is also extended by a day so that work can be handed in by today, Wednesday 13 March, and still be within the 24-hour penalty deadline.
Those revised deadlines are being put in place through Sussex Direct, but may take some time before they formally show on the systems. Students should check with their school office if they need to clarify any aspects of these deadline extensions.
