Roads, access and other works

Park Village car park (P8)

The central bank of spaces (around 32 bays) in Park Village car park (P8) remain closed for approximately three weeks. This is part of the ongoing programme of works to improve the pedestrian route in that area. After works are completed, 16 spaces will be re-instated. The other 16 spaces will form the new pedestrian footpath leading to the north of the campus. Car park P8 will remain open throughout the period of works, for drivers to use the spaces that will remain available around the periphery.

Science Car Park (P1)

20 bays in Science car park have been closed for the last several months for gas main works. These parking spaces have been temporarily reinstated; however the spaces will be closed once again for further works later this month.

Refectory Road pedestrian route

Further excavation works behind Bramber House are underway, and a diversion for pedestrians is in place. Pedestrians should continue to avoid walking along Refectory Road between Swanborough residences and Park Village car park. This route is extremely narrow and therefore hazardous for those on foot.
