Universities work together to put on joint careers fair

Brighton’s two universities have joined forces to organise one of the biggest careers fairs in the region.

More than 100 employers have signed up to exhibit at Careers Fair 2012, which is being held at the American Express Community Stadium in Falmer on 7 November between 11am and 4pm.

Linda Buckham, Director of the Careers and Employability Centre at the University of Sussex, and Sam Rhodes, the University of Brighton’s careers service manager, have worked together and with their teams to create this new event.

Linda said: “Employers tell us that they want to visit fairs where they will meet interesting and talented students and graduates from universities located in one city.”
