Share your memories and experiences with us by writing a blog throughout Welcome Weekend and Induction Week. The best blog will win a prize of £100!

How to enter
The competition is open to all new Sussex students arriving in September. Visit SPLASH to write and post your blog. Don't forget to tag your blog with 'My Welcome Week 2012' .
Competition period
Blogs should cover the period of Welcome Weekend (15-16 September 2011) and Induction Week (17-21 September 2012).
Closing date
The final blog entry should be on or before 23 September 2012. Entries after this date will not be considered.
Judging
The competition will be judged by Student Recruitment Services and the winner will receive a prize of £100. The winner will be notified on 3 October 2012.
Publication
The University reserves the right to publish extracts from the winning entry. Entries deemed to be inappropriate for publication will be withdrawn.
Terms and conditions
Theme
The subject of your blog should be your Welcome Week. The theme is open to individual interpretation but entries must have the Welcome Weekend and Induction Week activities at their heart. You may include photographs within your blog.
The judges will select one blog which best illustrates the theme of the competition. In choosing the winner they will be looking for a blog that is focused, well-written and entertaining, as well as considering originality, personality and interpretation of the brief.

IMPORTANT
Each blog entry must be tagged 'My Welcome Week 2012'. Entries without this tag will not be considered.
