Module learning outcomes

Understand how relevant psychology and organisational behaviour principles can be applied to analyse the interpersonal dynamics among leaders and followers

Understand the differences between formal and informal power, and critically evaluate situations under which the different types of power can be drawn on and exercised

Develop skills in harnessing the power of influence by assessing the principles learned in the module to practices, such as negotiations and interpersonal interactions

Apply the principles learned in the module to inform what leaders can do to bring organisations closer to their strategic direction, whilst considering ethical questions and contexts.
