International Student Ambassador Scheme

The International Student Ambassador Scheme is run by the International Office at the University of Sussex. Each year, we recruit around 40 students to support us with our work and share their experiences with prospective students

An International Student Ambassador (ISA) works for the International Office for at least an academic year and can last as long as they study at the University.

The role involves:

  • Conducting campus tours for international applicants.
  • Using the online chat forum Unibuddy to answer enquiries from prospective students.
  • Representing the International Office at in-person and virtual events.
  • Live chatting to prospective international students.
  • Being involved in innovative social media projects.

After being given training, you will be given the opportunity to work with key departments across the institution, meeting new people and developing useful skills.

Ambassadors can take pride in representing the University and operating as the 'voice' of the international student experience at Sussex.
