ACADEMIC REGULATIONS 2012/13

The Academic Office web page contains all the latest information about the rules that underpin your degree course at Sussex. It has helpful guidance documents about assessment and feedback, with a user-friendly series of FAQs designed to help you find out about modules, credits and deadlines.

Students who returned to continue their studies in October 2012 and who may wonder if these changes have affected them should find the document titled 'transitional arrangements' useful.

The Student Life Centre is here to support you through your studies rather than with your studies – this means that we can help you with issues which impact upon your studies but will refer you to other sources for academic help.

Support from your School of study is an integral part your education at Sussex.  Your Academic Advisor’s role is to maintain an academic overview of your progress and to provide academic guidance.

The Study Success at Sussex (S3) website is a useful study skills resource for all students. S3 will help you to prepare for your studies and offer you continuing study skills guidance throughout your course.  http://www.sussex.ac.uk/s3

You can meet with a Student Life Advisor, privately and in confidence, book in on-line via Sussex Direct, or give us a call on 01273 876767 or pop in to see us.
