Anna Barnett was appointed as Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor in October last year and she was joined more recently by Seb Oliver,
These are key leadership roles supporting Sussex’s research and business engagement activities.
Professor Oliver’s role focuses on building grant capture and research performance while Professor Barnett specialises in business engagement and industrial strategy.
These two outstanding academics, will work alongside Professor Keith Jones, our new Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) when he joins us in October.

Two outstanding academics from the School of Engineering and Informatics Anna Barnett and Sri Subramanianhave been given key leadership roles supporting Sussex’s research and business engagement activities. They were appointed in October last year and will work alongside Professor Gordon Harold in his capacity as Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research Excellence Framework).
