Latest changes to local bus services

After many weeks when the local bus company was operating around 40% of its normal service levels, since Monday (1 June) there has been a significant scale-up in service, virtually doubling the total level of service available, and getting much closer to what customers might normally expect to see from the bus service. 

Brighton & Hove Buses are now operating in the region of 80% of their standard services. View current timetables.

The bus company says the new service levels have been set for each route following analysis of the levels of usage during lockdown and taking account of the need to support current social distancing guidelines. 

Social distancing limits will be applied to each journey. The new lower capacity levels - from 24 on bendy buses and up to 30 on double deckers - are clearly displayed on the side of each bus.
